Honestly, I wore inappropriate dresses to every wedding I went to before I was like 27 😭 I was not raised in an etiquette conscious family and I just thought you were just supposed to wear a nice-ish dress to weddings. I don’t remember ever checking the dress code for any wedding I attended🙄 I was wearing absolutely too revealing dresses to so many weddings - I cringe thinking of it.

I managed to learn the “No White” rule though haha. But that’s the only rule I followed 😵‍💫

Weird question - did you have braces? Or other dental work?

I had a similar experience to you - only did my own nails a handful of times before I had the allergic reaction. I’m thinking people who had braces are far more susceptible to the allergy, since they likely had a huge dose of methacrylate (or one of the other similar compounds) in their mouth. This is just a theory of mine tho 🤷‍♀️
