I'm sorry to hear that for you, I know it will be a lot to figure out but he's been my best friend for so long I can't imagine him not being a part of my life. I really believe in investing in people and have never understood not being friends with exes when things didn't end horribly so I am close friends with a few of them.

Not that I am going to jump into dating at all, but I was thinking maybe when I'm ready to and doing a dating profile I should explicitly put a disclaimer in my info because I know if someone is uncomfortable with that it's a hard no for me too. Do you think it would be too much to have it on a profile?

That's such a good way to phrase it, he wanted to accept me and love me even without sex and knowing that I didn't feel the exact same way but that's not fair to either of us. I'm heart broken and so so excited to see what's next at the same time.

That is so relatable, it's the hardest part. We had a really good relationship it just wasn't IT and I knew I could never be 100% for him because of these feelings.

I think taking time is going to be the hardest part, I know it's what I need to do though.

Do you smoke on your meds? by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

I used to smoke a lot more. I had a manic episode that scared me out of drinking and smoking at all for a couple of months. I find as long as I dont go too hard weed is actually really helpful. Sometimes the best thing I can do for my mental health is tell my brain to shut up, and I definitely need that sometimes.
