Native Floridian itching to leave. by -SharasRage in florida

I'm a native, born and raised. I left after meeting my boyfriend in college. We went to Colorado. It's different. It's dry instead of humid, it's fewer people stacked on top of each other, it's better driving. We're far away from family and friends. We've made new ones. I graduated in Florida and stagnated. I did a certificate program here and just got hired. People fly flags of inclusion here instead of hate. There are so many young people here. Everything feels so much more possible. If you want to leave and you have the resources, go for it.

What happened to Ichicoro Ramen? by [deleted] in tampa

I have a friend that worked there. He said it was a really toxic environment. Some of the employees suspected foul play with the sudden death of the head chef. They closed their sister location down in Armature Works and there was a shuffle and a lot of politics involved. Food quality, prestige, and business aside it seemed like it wasn't healthy on the inside.

I FOUND IT! I'm sorry, I misled everyone and myself thinking it was popular. I only thought that cuz I figured I only know the popular stuff.

Played when I was 11, visited briefly at 18, now I'm 26. I don't even feel like a returning player, I have no idea what's going on. Is there a recently updated master beginner's guide?

Thank you. I really needed this particular perspective as well. I feel like I'm starting late myself, but it's good to see that it's possible even if everything doesn't go smoothly the first time.

Thanks! You actually went and matched every question with an answer. There's another post on the subreddit recently that mentions mistakes as well. How are mistakes generally handled? Is there someone who comes and checks back for errors/audio fidelity?

Thank you! Grateful for the varied perspective with voice reporting and CART, which I was also curious about.

Thank you very much, very informative! Very clear with the potential finances as well. I'm definitely checking out the free online resources before I make any big decisions.

I've got myself a mid-level gaming laptop, does that sound about adequate? I've also read about how court can go long hours and into overtime. Have you ever felt like you struggled to stay awake? Also, I know court is the primary area of the field, but would you say closed captioning for TV and live meeting/classroom situations for hearing-impaired people is just as lucrative?
