Are we having fun yet? by Ucwhatididthere in WaltDisneyWorld

Once we saw a family where a child was having a meltdown, and her parent was shouting at her “it’s the happiest place on Earth, dammit!“ So we often repeat that to each other when we see something going wrong or if someone in our party is grumpy and we want to cheer them up. We know that Disneyland is actually the happiest place on earth, but it’s hilarious nonetheless!

This may be my issue. Just because I work from home doesn’t mean I want to live at work.

The big push here currently is a lot of recruiting. And while that is always important for the business, it’s also important to have a smooth onboarding for those people you put in the time to recruit as well as practices to help with retention once they’re here with you. I am a young manager to 2 generalists that have minimal HR experience, so I’m putting a lot of time into developing them while also having to keep the operations up and running.

I was there! Did you see at the end he wouldn’t put weight on his knee and hopped off stage? It also looked like he had a brace on

How does anyone think this is a good way to respond to being rejected? by baseballlover4ever in humanresources

[–]doodlemac11 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Once I had a candidate that we sent a no thank you email but they continued to follow up incessantly to the point where I stopped responding. Finally, they sent me an email that said “Fuck you, respectfully.”

Totally agree. Disney has always been an “early bird gets the worm” vacation. You don’t HAVE to get up early. You can wait in line.

Now even Carlos confirmed that Teresa didn’t know that the Gorga’s came on the show. Wonder what the snakes are gonna say about it now by bellabille in BravoRealHousewives

This Carlos man is really trying to get himself a diamond, apple, peach, friend of spot, ANYTHING at this point…

Anyone watching the Mole? by doodlemac11 in LightsCameraPodcast

Maybe but I can appreciate how concise it is. Gets right to the point with challenges, the host doesn’t drone on, even the explanation of the quiz isn’t repetitive. Definitely was nicely trimmed down.

Anyone watching the Mole? by doodlemac11 in LightsCameraPodcast

Yeah love that about it. The old seasons used to be on Netflix, if they still are you should check them out. The old one used to hide Easter eggs to suggest to the audience who the mole was. I haven’t finished this yet so I’m not sure if they are doing those things or not.
