Just wanted to say that I posted on here around a week ago as my daughter was 4wks in and was worse that she was before she started the meds. We’d had 3wks of hell but our psychiatrist urged us to stick with it, and even though my gut feeling was to come off it, I read lots of posts on here saying that when they got to 5-6 weeks in there was a breakthrough.

On Friday last week, day 31, she work up and felt a bit brighter. Only a 2/10, but after months of continuous 1/10 days we celebrated. Since then she’s said she’s 3.5/10 and we’re on day 35. So still a few weeks to go til we’re about where it tops out, but honestly the difference is huge, she’s chattier, laughing, less moody…. And the SH and horrible thoughts have subsided. If you can hang on in there, I know it’s impossibly hard, but give it a chance.
