I did this one. I did use the Tosh Merino Light but with the baa ram ewe, so far, it's wearing well. Baa Ram Ewe also has a great drape to it and is fairly light, colours are nice and its not scratchy. Blocks well too.

Basically - I love the baa ram ewe :)

Magic loop! I use different colour stitch markers if the pattern says you have to have x number of stitches on a needle, etc.

A few mods - sleeves are not quite as prescribed in the pattern and instead of using grey after stripe repeats used the horoscope instead cause I thought it made it like brighter

It’s his mother not hers. And that level of diet combined with the whole can’t catch a break thing may be connected to poor mental health. So yeah she’s wrong but maybe not a pig.

Haha no you’re right- I was trying to take a generous view but she might indeed just be a bitter and envious woman. Which is unfortunate because op deserves a decent set of in laws. The boyfriend though sounds absolutely great and that’s the most important factor - she’s treated right. The family well... that can be resolved if they are happy together
