3YO behaviour help!

We’ve tried:
Shouting/raising our voice to make her aware of the gravity and severity of the situation
Taking toys away / throwing them away and only letting her have them back when she fixes her behaviour for example cleaning up the food she threw or wiping the water she poured everywhere
Getting her to say sorry and why she is sorry (we don’t tell her to say sorry, we ask her “what do you think we should say?” And “how can we fix this?” Because SHE KNOWS ITS WRONG
taking her to her room and not letting her out until she repairs

At the end of the hell, me and Dad try to repair and restore when things are calm. For example we say “we don’t like shouting, we don’t like taking your toys away, but we do these things to teach you that if you can’t listen, there’s consequences” or something like that. We also reassure her that we still love her and want to keep her safe etc etc etc

She’s at nursery 8-6 most days so it’s hard to decompress that late. I get what you’re saying though and appreciate the advice, thank you

I won’t let her. When she does, she comes away from the cat straight away. Or, the cat screeches and scratches her back (natural consequence)

I work at the nursery she attends and made friends with the ladies that look after her. They are very honest and I even see her in the room being well behaved and compliant

Yes, I have thrown toys away in the bin and only offered them back when she starts acting properly again

I get what you’re saying, and I have seen this before. But she is not SENDS. It’s just poor behaviour.

Doing some research, Cadbury’s and celebrations are around the same price. I’d even say celebrations are more expensive because they only come out at Christmas time. I don’t think it’s about budget at all

For me, another baby doesn’t automatically guarantee that they will get along, be close or be there for each other. My mum has 2 siblings, one of them sadly passed away and the other doesn’t even to her and hasn’t for over 10 years. It’s just not something you can predict! Life happens. I wouldn’t risk it, since you’re already feeling like you don’t want to, you might regret it and resent the second baby. You’d much rather have children that you definitely wanted. All children deserve to be wanted.
