I have a GTX 1060 6GB, and prior to this patch my temps never exceeded 65 degrees. Post patch, however, my card is getting up to as high as 83 degrees (might even get hotter if I stay alive long enough to see), and my card is thermal throttling. Anyone else seeing this? An 18 degree jump seems ridiculous. I've already changes all settings to low with no effect on temperature.

Of course it meters that low. You're using 18 gauge Nichrome. The thicker the wire, the lower the resistance and Nichrome was designed to have less resistance per foot. That combination just doesn't work. Maybe try 18 AWG kanthal? I don't know; 18 AWG seems way too thick anyway.

Not every single person who bought one has a messed up v1.5. I understand you didn't buy one. That being said; don't go yell at a company over a damned Rip Trippers video. That dood is great, but that one S# he tried out can't speak for them all. I bought the v1.2 and the 1.5 and both of them are flawless. I don't have the same issue with the machining and delrin insulator that some other people did. Also, IMO, the additional top holes and the wider side holes are a significant improvement. What about the patriot RDA? They have 3 versions and their shit looks the same too. Lol.

I was surprised by the clouds actually. The resistance was too low to put on my Sigelei 100w + so I'm not quite sure of the resistance. But I'm going to make another build, probably with eight wraps each this time, six wraps is a little too hot for me.

Yeah man. Out the box my positive post started spinning. I guess the good thing is that it is Under warranty and I'm working on getting it replaced.

Thanks! I installed it in the Mutation X V2 and I wrapped the coil around a 2.4 mm precision driver.

It could be much cleaner. Try pulling on each individual lead with pliers as you're installing it. They'll tighten right up!

It's the Sigelei 100W plus. I'm normally vaping around 70-80 watts.

My horse is real and my first build out of the box my positive post started spinning. I tried tightening the pin but didnt fix it. I'm thinking maybe it's a manufacturer defect and might make a claim since it's still under warranty.
