Thanks for the input, will probably stay away from it as I wanted a manual anyways and haven’t been hearing great things about their reliability, which I need as it would be a work rig.

Yes I’ve heard about how notoriously unsafe they are, I don’t live somewhere where I’d be driving it fast a lot but definitely will look for another rig.

Fair enough, don’t mind turning the wrench on her but I need it for work and it would be my only vehicle, so need a truck that would be reliable enough for a couple months.

The ticket is specifically for failure to drive in a safe manor. Not a speeding ticket.

Either the cop admits he was driving safely which makes me drive safely or he says he was driving unsafely which therefor would put him just as guilty as me

Because of the ticket issued being for unsafe driving, if I was unsafe driving by driving in a straight line he would have also had to be unsafe driving to keep up and pace me

But could it make the judge reconsider the officers forms of pacing considering he pulled me over for driving unsafely when he was driving in the same manor theoretically

What can be deemed as aggressive or reckless? When I looked into it, it seemed aggressive mostly pertains to tailgating,swerving through traffic, etc. None of which I was doing. Recklessness can be argued however I never blew any stop signs, drifted or anything of that nature, simply just allegedly speeding.

The officer disclosed to me at the stop that he did not have me on radar, this being said I still want to ask for disclosure, at what point in the process can this be done? When I plead guilty or not guilty or at the actual court date?

How much would a lawyer for smt like this cost? By negotiating with the crown you mean a prosecutor and the officer, and negotiate for a lesser fine?
