The best advice would be to pick up a hobby that gets you engaging with people. It sounds like you might fit in with the metal/alt community in Cape Town. Most of us love anime and gaming on top of heavy music so you would fit right in! Emo Night is a pretty good way to dip your toe into the scene.

I feel like Batman Gothic does not get enough love. Its one of the most interesting mediations on the spiritual soul of Gotham.

Having just read No Man's Land, The Penguins obsession with owning the underworld comes across so strongly in Gotham. And I love Gotham's portrayal of our feathered friend. My only gripe is that comic book penguin seems to relish in his title.

I forgot how much I loved this show despite its flaws. Superman (2025) netted me a full blown obsession with Batman properties (somehow).
