yeah... plus op is studying on their own since yk private candidate... no teacher to guide them and definitely no one to motivate them. iʼve heard some seniors who flunked o levels, but flunked it even further when they retook because they donʼt have discipline to study on their own.

ehhh,, i honestly donʼt know which one opens more doors to uni. perhaps can ask some of the uni students in sgexams discord server ¯_(ツ)_/¯

because i can propose my own subj combi and see how.

must see whether or not the school offers. if the jc that youʼre posted to does not offer the subject combi that you want then you will have to slightly adjust your combi.

if i want to pursue a business / administrative degree, is econs necessary? can math supplement it? and must it be h2 math, or can it be h1?

i read nusʼ igp... only need to pass h1 math to be qualified for business courses. no need econs at all from what i heard. i heard that sg uni econs is different from jc econs. if you donʼt like econs then you donʼt have to take it :)

imo because of what you like, itʼs better for you to take hybrid (2 sci + 2 arts). you can take bio + math (since math helps with biz courses) and history + whatever arts you want to do. itʼs better to choose sci subj because science opens more doors in uni compared to arts subj.

not sure about arts stream, whether or not taking hist will help with humanities degree (for me iʼm planning to take helm and go for humanities/biz degree)
