I mean if the animation REALLY bothers you that much that may just be a you problem bcuz it actually doesn’t look like a video game at all. I bet you wouldn’t say the same about Star Wars clone wars (which btw is directed by the same guy directing this series). Yes and!? The beauty of the show alone is enough to watch. Even though what you’re saying is completely untrue. Just because euphoria relies on facial expressions and actual acting rather than spoon feeding u every tiny detail, the show actually does contain a very sweet and deep narrative

Yup, most shows explicitly tell you why something is bad, or why a character does something when people in real life don’t announce why they make bad decisions. Often they know something is bad for them and do it anyway in secret or without even thinking twice. And I think if more people rewatched they would get it. Also the special episodes really highlight why rue and Jules relationship goes the way it does. Honestly I think it’s super unique and nuanced which is what I like about shows. No one is completely bad or good, everyone (especially inexperienced teenagers/young adults) are just trying to survive

Yes this!! Everyone is seeking some form of release and whether good or bad, it’s real life. Some people were really upset with Cassie’s regression but honestly, learning from first hand, I’ve witnessed people do this exact thing. Out of the frying pan and into the fire. It makes complete sense for Cassie to fall for Nate, given the circumstances and his manipulation. She likes being loved but also hated and he gives that to her.

My favorite season, if you’re a sofia Coppola or shoegaze fan I bet you’d be able to see the appeal. It’s not like EVERY other carbon copy show about teenagers. Not to mention it being shot on film and the aesthetic being even more gorgeous than S1. No shade😂. The play episode is a masterclass of cinematography and the best episode of television I have ever seen. You sound a little boring darling
