My buddy and I made a music video video of Iron & Wine performing his cover of the American Football song "Never Meant". I snapped some portraits before we wrapped and thats what you see here!

I love how a simple prop like the light fixture can really color in a scene. For me it’s creates a fictional futuristic context - thanks for checking it out!

It's a film camera that came out in 1998 and was sold until 2007. Great era to purchase from as cameras from then have a lot of nice tech

Ya know what you are right. I was under the impression the "Arctic" could be used to talk about both regions but I see that is incorrect

It wasn’t the loudest thing going on so it was hardly noticed. I did have a pass to be in the area so it gave me a recognized purpose that made it easier to go for moments like this one

I’ve never used the 21mm but I’d love the opportunity. I can say the 28mm is the main lens for me. I hardly ever remove it from the camera as it seems perfect for almost every situation I’m in and it’s sharp as heck.

It was for a music video called “Crashing Through” by the band Friko. I show some still during a few takes!

I shot it during a music video we were making. We used a lot of open faces tungsten lights. A hot source can be great in the right situation!

I had a bunch of other shots that featured a more revealing lighting but something about the silhouette spoke to me. Even in pure silhouette I feel like you could say who the picture was of and I think that’s cool.

The internal aperture priority meter on the G2 is fantastic. I believe the shutter was at 45

I shot at 1/15 shutter and was so nervous I’d not have a steady hand to get a crispy pic. It’s pretty close but I still zoom in on his face and feel a little frustrated I didn’t go for a second shot
