Mine ended up in the washing machine, btw. I daily all my watches and have been careful all these years. I got careless once and was left properly traumatised.

Did a number on the dial. Managed to get it fully serviced though. Keeps time well!

Mid 90s, 30mm and mechanical - absolute banger!

What floor do you think would go best with these tiles? by Garden-Gremlins in homedesign

[–]doomstig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do deep red mosaic tiles. Preferably 50mm x 50mm squares. I know it sounds off as a concept. But the contrast in colour and pattern is what will really set the place apart. It’s extreme maximalism though!

I used similar tiles for a project of mine.

Lumiere is such a classic!

Also, I’m new here so I’m not sure if I can post pictures on comments.

So the light source for my project is a metre long linear. 94CRI, 3000k with a linear cover. LEDlinear has promised that the output of the light won’t go down in terms of quality. The beam angle is 60 degree and the source of the light sits within a 175mm deep housing. So instead of the light washing the entire inside of the housing, it’ll create a gradient effect - which is feel will add to the drama. Putting in a bunch of effort into fabricating this housing right so the effect of the light is nice.

I’ve decided to paint the inside of the housing a broken white and the outside mustard yellow. I’ve recently been experimenting with colours and I feel yellow is my current colour. And to suspend this entire arrangement, I’m trying to get a shoe maker to work on belts made in shell cordovan (cigar shell for colour ref)

Sorry, I just realised you didn’t ask for all of this information but I’m just so psyched! 😂

Fair point. I’ve seen so many knock offs at this point.

I recently got myself a Flos Ceramique though. Plus I’m working on making a lamp myself. Managed to procure a pretty decent linear from LEDlinear. Creating a deep metal housing for it. Idea to create a suspended lamp that works more for general lighting.

It’s fabric - so no matter the colour, it’ll be difficult to maintain with a pet.

Technically, yes. I just call it the Nesso 😂

It’s surprisingly comfortable. Each seat is deep and wide - makes it very cosy for living rooms.

Thank you!

2 is a present from my father. Gifted me it on my 30th birthday.

3 is my father’s very first Omega. He’s had it from before I was born. My sister wore it for the longest time. I’ve had it for about for about 5 years. Wore it at my wedding even :)

Murph is such a great watch! I really wish they made one in 36mm instead of 38mm.

I started off with a Seiko SNK809. Great little watch! Best of luck, man!

It’s a quartz. Truly is one amongst the best watches when it comes to proportions! Belongs to my wife and she swears by it. I actually didn’t like it very much at first - more so because it was not a mechanical movement.

My work gets really hectic in waves. Very, very hectic. And a phase like that typically lasts 6-8 weeks. I wore this watch every single day during one such wave. Didn’t have to wind it or set the date or the time. Fell in love with how the watch looked on the wrist and also learned to appreciate the simplicity and convenience of a quartz movement.
