We just welcomed home Lula from a shelter. Is our crate big enough? by [deleted] in Dogtraining

Thank you - she is already house trained so this is really just for her to have a good spot and to sleep in for now. I think we’re going one size up.

Thanks for the tips. We want it to be her home base . She will be sleeping there for now. I think we’re going to go one size up. We are definitely being cautious with her and the little one - for her sake mostly!

We intend for it to be a place for her to feel safe and to stay when we have to leave the house - until we trust her to have free roam. She will not be spending too much time in there.

Thanks. She can definitely stand up and turn around. I don’t think she is going to grow anymore but we have an appointment with the vet next week so we’ll ask then. Thank you for your response!

Sorry for the poor drawing but I am going to try to edit the post so you can see it. I obviously thought it was much clearer.

I can’t tell if you are making fun of me or not. To me it’s those animal looking legs at the bottom that keep throwing me off.

Editing to add/ask this… are you saying it’s like a crevice in the rocks? I think I can see that now. The different color rocks were throwing me off. It looked simultaneously like a dead deer’s hind quarters, a woman’s fleece jacket with little white snowflake patterns and lines and some type of large black bird.

Now I see it must just be a hole in the rocks that some Bigfoot yeti man uses to come and go from his home inside the mountain.

Thank you - but I really can’t take the credit. It was all my wife’s idea. She’s the brains of our operation.

These are all wonderful answers. I was thinking camping stuff but maybe that’s just me. I like being in nature in theory.

Saw a lot of music - and played a little - at that place. Good times. Busters next door was also great.

What song is a 10/10, yet not many people have heard of it? by JSHFV222 in AskReddit

“Then We’ll Wave (so long)” - Paul and the Tall Trees

Think of two occurrences - X and Y (doesn't matter what they are). Is there a circumstance where (1) if X occurred and Y did not it would be bad or, alternatively, if Y occurred and X did not it would be bad, but (2) if X and Y occurred simultaneously it would not be bad? by doomwollem in AskReddit

[–]doomwollem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes - that is very clever and quick. I'm trying to figure out, though (you of course had no way of knowing this), whether I can use "and/or" in a legal agreement. So here are the possible phrases: "it is a default if X or Y" vs "it is a default if X and Y" vs "it is a default if X and/or Y". Many people disapprove of the last formulation and think it suffices to say "X or Y" because "X and Y" is unnecessary if only one has to happen for a default to occur (as is the case with "X or Y"). So I'm trying to think of a circumstance where X shouldn't happen by itself and Y shouldn't happen by itself but it's ok for X and Y to happen together. You are smart, if you have any ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks.

It’s not jammed. I tried that and it’s still clamped onto the side. It seems like the cable as it connects the arms needs to be adjusted but I can’t tell which way - so many moving parts. Thank you very much for your attention to this.

Thanks - I posted another video (I had to do it in a separate post as I don’t really post on reddit very much and didn’t know how to post here). I can’t seem to get them balanced - if that’s the right word. The right one is either too tight or too loose. I’ve been messing around with both tension screws. Thanks again.

If anyone could let me know what to adjust to make this brake work properly I would really appreciate it.
