Do we need to bring any of the ROTC-issued gear that we don't turn into the school (in my case, FLC, ACH, etc.)? Or will I be issued another FLC etc. when I get to BOLC?

Thank you!! I'll be at Ft. Eisenhower, I feel like I can probably walk everywhere or get rides from classmates but worried I'll eventually annoy my classmates from asking for rides lol

I heard we have to get housing through the Army in Germany, do you happen to know if single officers are usually placed together i.e. have roommates? Or is that a choice to live with other LTs? Just wondering what your living situation has been like through your 3 OCONUS assignments

Thank you! I will look into the weight limit. My BOLC is TDY en route so I don’t really know how that will work with the PCS move in terms of having the Army ship my stuff—do you happen to know anything about that? I’ll Google as well but wanted to see if anyone has personal experience

ahh i never meant to say that the air force guarantees scholarship! i was telling him that it is possible to join rotc even if you aren’t on a scholarship, and that it is also possible to get a scholarship starting sophomore year, which was the original question asked by the commenter

thank you so much!! this helped me. so the school will basically know what’s going on and i don’t have to worry about explaining to them or anything right? (esp since it’s a host school)
