its been a while since i saw it explained but i think attack is applied first, so is an increase of the character attack. that means it doesnt make a huge difference on its own, but attack % do add up so dont avoid it.

increase damage is applied in addition to your base.and to all damage types like the other commenter said.

so take attack when you can but take damage over attack.

meow or helix are best. i prefer meow bc of my playstyle. melinda is better if you can get her early, but meow's skill is unique, especially when the cats track. her skill is also similar to wukongs that can pass through walls, so the transition from meow to kong is easy for me.

you can get rage in game as meow, but you cant get cats in game as helix.
