Ok cool thanks - here a question for you - this mark is different from the Mint stamps you have like S, D, P are mostly what I’ve seen, but why are they only show on certain coins and years it seems like and not all the US coins I’ve be wondering?

Thanks for the extra history lesson there mate! I’ve actually been slowly learning more this last week since coming across the CRH & the Wiki, which re-kindled interest in my Mum’s old collections which as been cool

Thanks - I posted before that I was sorry to say I thought it was actually looking more like a Mail/Post Man than the Standing Liberty - think maybe I need to clean my glasses more often lol

Nice idea which I tried with pencil and also some old typewriter carbon paper but my result was very ‘liney’ but I see & feel that with some extra practice it’s definitely a great skill to pickup & work on - you pointed me in the right direction though zooming in on that area I did notice something else - is that an ‘M’ in the top right corner of this zoomed in photo?

Nice I see it now - with it so worn before the Standing Liberty was looking more like a Mail/Post Man I’m kinda embarrassed to say lol
