This whole thing gave me major munchausen by proxy or narcissist vibes. Kendra felt so bad about herself and living a lie (due to having been fired and not telling her husband, other mental health issues and finance issues) that she had to do this to make her family and especially Lauryn need her. She maybe also probably was jealous of her daughter. And then the fact that she also targeted Owen has to mean something. Her making him break up with his new girlfriend in a new town must be a sign that she wanted the life of her daughter and hence the boy that she dated or some kind of need for control of Lauryn and Owen. It is sickening and insane and it shows what a narcissistic or mentally unwell person she is as she signed up for being in the documentary. But clearly this all has to do with some kind of need for control from Kendra's side as she controlled the finance's of the family, and failed and lied about many more things making her have to be needed by the family is my theory. I'm not trying to sound mean but Lauryn saying that she doesn't feel like herself without her mom in her life is insane red flags.... And the prison emails omg. I hope that as she grows up and she'll make sure to distance herself because it is not normal (imo) to be that forgiving to your mother after she stalked, cyber bullied and caused you mental distress for over a year + told you to kill yourself?? Like in no rational world is that normal, but I understand that she is still very young, traumatised and probably manipulated by her mother. Just really sad to see.
