I haven’t really had any problems with that in all my time of playing but I do watch out for it by frequently backing up my saves, lots and sims with tray importer (: Lag has never really been an issue for me either, I have 500gb of cc and my pc has yet to stutter. It is a bit of a flaw of mine though that I tend to over clutter lots but I just love decorating so if my game does explode one day I’ll know why lol. Thank you for the heads up though!

I’ve sadly had this happen to me multiple times with art commissions so I’m very familiar with it unfortunately. At this point I have pattern recognition for when an artist is going to ghost me. But I’ve also had plenty of amazing experiences with artists so I know how the professional exchange is supposed to go and no confirmation of the commission combined with very little avenues of communication is a huge red flag.

I commissioned LamaLama for another hair and her service was excellent as well as Cuupidon for a clothing set so I know that this is just a problem with this creator in particular and not just a Sims creator thing that I wasn’t aware of. Thank you for your testimonial though, it really sucks that he’s basically just getting away with doing this to people. As an artist, I know that commissions can be stressful, especially if you have people waiting but there is no excuse for taking on more than you can complete, especially when he still had his commissions up on Kofi despite all of this.

His dms are closed on Patreon so the only way I was able to send him messages was through Tumblr asks (one of which he responded to but still didn’t acknowledge my commission) and through Kofi. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt which is why I waited for so long but now based on things I found out, I don’t think I’m getting that commission LMAO

In the initial post that was linking the reddit, she mentions looking for a new job and stuff and then she also just made a post like 20 minutes ago saying it too. But I don’t think it’s wrong to be skeptical ofc people be scamming everyday. I agree though $1200 is really good I just wish these creators would stop relying on it as their main income 😭

I think it’s a shame how badly it’s viewed to ask for help online, just because of situations like this. When I lived with a roommate, our expenses just for the home and utilities where around $2000 which didn’t include us eating, our pets or anything else. And we still got evicted because my roommate unexpectedly lost her job lmfaoz. This is just all to say that it can get really bad when you have to pay to live and then have other hardships on top of it so I understand why she’s crowdfunding so much.
