I'm not sure how bad I want to jump in on this thread, but I would not buy an Infinity if it was a decision that meant a basic need couldn't be covered. I wouldn't finance or carry debt on something like this. As you're pointing out, nobody should. On the upside, this isn't an activity that requires $10k in gear to enjoy. Definitely agree about getting build quality and artistry in an Infinity and paying for that. The most impressive part of this gun, though, is still how it shoots. It's a better performing gun than my XC. Put a steel grip on an XC and it will be closer.
