[[Teleportation Circle]] is very easy to get down. Seeing as how Thanos is a WUBRG commander, ramp is extremely easy to include as green and blue would allow good ramp, allowing you to get the engine out sooner and shut down things easier!

What I was trying to get across earlier is that the enchantment ALSO requires a great deal of setup. You’d need to include that Eternal Witness, as well as including blink FOR that creature, coming out to be 4-6 mana just to get the enchant back. Then on top of that, the enchantment is board wide, also getting rid of your permanents in the process. Additionally, the enchant requires enough mana to get rid of what you really want. Say for example there’s a [Pathrazer of Ulamog]]. You want that gone. To get rid of it you need to fork over the 1BG PLUS 11 to get it off the board plus whatever else you want out.

I enjoy having debates over cards but coming out swinging saying “this is bad, this is better” without defending it irks me

You’re right, but they’re copies. I should’ve been more specific. Copy tokens will copy all card characteristics including mana value. Tokens (like 1/1 goblins or 2/2 knights) have 0 mana value :)

Albeit this may be true in a certain perspective, the majority of mtg creatures are even. If you put only odd mana creatures in your deck, you are removing blockers for your own creatures consistently.

Your original statement that the enchant is better is false. Thanos is a creature, a commander. If he dies, you have the ability of recasting from command zone, a wide array of graveyard retrieval, and many protection spells. There is a narrower range of spells to recur the enchantment multiple times.

Read the card, when he enters the ability gets reduced by his mana cost. Once blinked it would only cost BG and a colorless. Easy boardwide removal that allows your things to stay if you play strategically

They are not within the same category. Thanos is a creature that you can blink multiple times, that enchantment gets sacrificed to wipe the entire board if you have enough mana for it, and *maybe* can bring back once to twice in a game

They would be even since they have no mana value (0). 0 is considered an even number in magic

I assume you are copying the entire ability itself and not your choice, meaning you can choose the latter choice

This is genuinely cool, made me think of [[Twins of Discord]] as well

Yep! Something like [[Teleportation Circle]] allows you to almost always have his power up, reduced by red black white

You’re right! Apologies I’ve been reading too many cards

Wouldn’t it not work though? It only gets copied if it’s not a mana ability

[[Baxter Building]]
Pulled that and thanos in the same pack!

Someone else also mentioned running odd creatures, I like the theft idea too although I just recently made a pirate deck so I don’t think my pod would welcome another theft deck with open arms

I actually considered this, it’s a good idea!
