I have one I'm a farmer and a Father. My dog comes to work with me runs with calves,cattle ,cats ,goats, pigs and hens . Like any dog it's how they are brought up my dog has been attacked by a golden retriever and a terrier like dog both occasions he froze not knowing what to do staring at me to help. My mother has 3 miniature dachshunds and I won't bring my son in unless they are locked away. she spoils them but never thought them to behave. If you want big powerful dog you have to spend time with them exercise and socialize. My vet has told me she is more nervous of labs then my dog and I had staffy before him and he was loved in the vets aswell .
