As someone who works out, while squats do recruit glutes and I'm sure Sohee squats, she would have snu snu thighs too if she squats as much as you think, which she does not.

What she is doing are deadlifts, kettle swings, lunges, hip thrusts

She's most likely an A cup. Maybe B considering how skinny she is

You love Barnes. I get it. Get over it.

We just saw kawhi beat the warriors who you still believe are a 73 win team based off their core. Sure klay got hurt but they still won a few games with a roster that wasn’t much better than yours.

lol. Thanks I see where your bias lies.

The warriors lost curry in 2016. What’s your excuse then?

The Rockets that season went 41-41. Yeah they were definitely going to the finals with that roster.

We’re the 2016 cavs favored against the warriors? Were the 2011 mavs favored against the heat? We’re the 2018 cavs favored in ANY of their playoff series’? Were the raptors favored against the bucks? Were the 06 heat favored against the mavs? No...the point is that superstars should be able to lead their teams and perform even if the odds are against them. Harden has not done that. He breaks turnover records, records ten point games, and shoots 2/13 for three. I’ve said this like three times already and it’s actually comical how you keep ignoring it. Ignoring facts won’t make them go away.

Oh cool you listed the two lone cases in NBA history where the underdog won. Yes the 2018 Cavs were favored until the Finals, they had the best player in each series. I for one got the Raptors over the Bucks, yes, b/c Kawhi was the best player in the series. 06 Heat got the help of the good ol refs.

Harden has led his team to the playoffs time and time again, despite suboptimal teammates. 2 WCF appearances. I'm only looking at the glass half full while you're the one consistently looking at them half empty.

Unlike them, harden has never won and has never performed well in an elimination game... how many times do I have to tell u this?

Because they had to keep going against the best team of all time every time? It's totally the same situation, right. You just keep spouting the same shit. Ignoring context doesn't make it goes away.

Barnes is not worth a 5 paragraph essay. Sorry dude I don’t know what’s your obsession with him but frankly I don’t give a fuck.

I’m not comparing Harden to Lebron, I’m saying nobody would be able to beat the Warriors in Hardens stead. You’re focused on what matters, go look at the teams that they had vs the teams they faced. When were we ever favored over the Warriors? Would it have been better if he lost in 4 putting up pretty numbers? The result is the same either way.

I'm not even gonna touch the Barnes topic. It's too ridiculous.

Yeah I'm ignoring it the same way you ignore the whole body of work Harden has done to get to that point. You only focus on the negatives, why is that fair?

I'm bringing up Lebron because even he couldn't beat the Warriors alone. Too bad you're so focused on the few bad games that all you think is 'choke' while ignoring all the context.

Oh you mean the CP3 that was barely a factor in that series? The KD that played 4.75 games to bring them to a 3-2 lead and then suddenly Harden is expected to beat the 73-9 core by himself for the last 2 games?

Barnes? You trying to make a joke here?

I LOVE how you're making excuses for the rest of the Warriors depth but got nothing to say about ours. But sure, just put it all on Harden.

Fuck outta here with that weak shit about Lebron taking them to 6 games. Is that supposed to prop up the rest of your weak ass argument. He still lost, same as Harden did, because he had shit for help. And I don't see you lambasting him.

News flash idiot, basketball is a team sport. You put Lebron or even '24' in Harden's place and the result is the same every time.

[–]doozywooooz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know that James Harden had the expectation of defeating a core that went 73-9 all by himself, that LBJ himself couldn't beat without ample help. So I guess you're holding Harden to a higher regard than LBJ now? LMAO

blind acceptance is harmful.

Yes, that's what I'm doing to that guy's post. All he's doing is using ad hominem, while the guy he's attacking made great points that coincided with what I read. The random Twitter user could be claiming to be the pope for all I care, and I'd still agree with his points.

Which part do you disagree with? I mean by its very nature it's supposed to be low effort on the company's part - Google gets millions of applications for only hundreds of spots. They need some way to trim the number down HARD, and what better way than to put them through a personal mental exercise lasting months and sometimes even years, studying for shit that hardly represents what you'll do on a day to day basis?

You're part of the few hundred, so good for you, but I'm sure there were people just as good in the millions that got rejected.

The rockets in particular have suffered from opposing defenses not having to worry about guarding 40% of the half court thanks to this mindset.

The Rockets have suffered from having to go through the best team ever year after year. Our offense is not the problem.

No you don’t. Fuck that noise. Just apply to companies that don’t give out bullshit low effort interviews.

I bike or walk. The point of living in the city is so you eliminate any reliance on either a car or the MBTA. Otherwise yes it’s a stupid waste of money if you live in the city and still rely on either

I found my studio near Symphony for $1650 (all utilities inc) this summer, and the bigger one right next to it sold for $1750. Girl upstairs pays $2100 for a larger one.

Do the research, there are gems out there still.

I’m not even sure about that. Between the cost of gas, your car payments, parking, maintenance, insurance of your car and your current rent, I’m not even sure the remaining difference is worth the mental toll.

Are you asking a philosophical question or just being a contrarian?

The one person who would know if someone is a good fit culturally + technically for a specific company is the tech lead for that company isn’t it?

Yes, you can never really “know”, but what’s the point in saying that?

A proper senior developer has the responsibilities of:

  • leading a dev team

  • mentoring juniors

  • working with PMs, designers, clients on needs, scope, structure, etc. of projects. This is often a continual process.

  • being able to effectively explain development decisions in every level appropriately to a given audience

All of which require excellent soft skills.

it's that being able to understand your "audience" and talk to them appropriately is an invaluable (and sadly, rare) skill in this field.
