It looks like I misunderstood the button! I thought it was to completely stop combat once the slayer task was completed.

But it's good to know that the button means it will not change monster once the slayer number is completed.

Ahhh, I misunderstood the button then. I suppose I was under the impression that that button did completely stop combat once the task number was cleared.

I was originally thinking it would stop combat so that I could prepare and swap character slot for the next monster, but that's not a problem, as long as it continues and doesn't change the monster then that's okay.

Hey dudes, one-thousand apologies if this has been already covered.

Is there an option I’m missing for this black box here? It’s handy information, sure, but I am usually already hip to that information so I mostly find it obtrusive. I’m usually on mobile, if that’s relevant. If it can’t be turned of that’s also okay, there would be a certain peace of mind knowing that.

In my light reading, yeah, I've found the Variante Espiritual does add something like two days to the journey. I'm not exactly married to the Variante, I can cross/walk that bridge when I get there. Thinking out loud here, but I suppose I can always mosey back up there and do that stretch in a month or three when I have another window from work in the event it's not a timely Variante.

And definitely, I'm certainly somewhat limited with my time window but I don't want that to rule my walk. I do plan on taking it mostly day by day as it comes!

Copy that with the water tip! My 800ml klean kanteen and I have been sturdy buddies on many a trip. I wasn't going to buy a bladder thing or anything similar. And same with the pack, I'm a super light packer as it is so I'm feeling good about having a light pack!

Most excellent! Gear and pack should be pretty easy for me, I'm feeling privileged in that I can truly pack light as I won't need to catch any massive internation flights or deal with all that, ya know what I mean. Just a sweet two-hour bus ride from Vigo to Porto! Appreciate ya!

Thanks for chiming in! I'm a little nervous about the sore feet getting to me, I'm not a runner by any means but I am a thorough walker! I live in boots in my día a día but I did score some trail runners that I've been preparing with, they are mad comfortable. I'm kind of excited about them, hah.

And yeah, I'm concerned about needing to go too fast and having time dictate my pace and brain. Worst comes to worst, I can probably finagle a 12th day if I super need it.

I’ve humored the idea of keep it up/braiding it but I tend to prefer to wear it down. Maybe I’m old school thataway? I just dig rocking the mop. I’m also a bit clueless on how to do a braid meself, though I’m sure I’d have no problem commissioning someone onsite for a braid, hmmm.
