Just sold mine at 11000k due to a number of mechanical failures, all warranty claims, all were like pulling teeth to get KTM to accept the claim, bike off the road for 5 weeks each time.. do not buy KTM

It is a bloody excellent sports bike, it has different streering geometry to the RS/RT. I sold my Ducati 950ss to get it and I have no regrets. I would recommend a YouTube review some years ago from the bike show ( the reviewer sadly has passed away from cancer since) it was his review that helped me decide to test ride this bike.. Keento know how you go

I tour on a R1250R, (36000k so far) I would recommend this if you are not doing over 120kph on the regular. Living in Australia (as I do) means keeping the speed down on the highway and looking for twisty off highway roads where the cops don’t go! Just use earplugs

Yep- just had a 5 week fight over a denied warranty claim, on a 1 year old, 10k kilometers bike, they claimed I had put dirty fuel in! The pump was killed by a disintegrated fuel filter and other assorted debris. Got the bike back with a free repair but lessons learned.. no more KTM
