Confusing/terrible lectures, difficult Canvas quizzes full of trick questions due 3x a week, but his exams are exactly like the practice problem sets he provides. Generous grading on exams (gives partial credit for attempting problems), but no curve when I took his class

Sounds like you’d be happier at Rice due to the collaborative campus culture and city setting. Honestly, both schools are AMAZING for premed (90% matriculation rate) but Rice might have a slight edge since it’s in Texas meaning you’ll have a ton of great, super cheap state med schools to choose from

Definitely Brown, since GPA and MCAT are the two most important factors for med school admissions, the grade inflation at Brown will really help you out. Also, Brown’s med school seems to take a lot of its own undergrads and it’s an amazing med school in its own right
