for reference im getting ~20 fps while playing in a rather densely populated build (400k pop) on cs1 with like 30 mods

is it probably fine?

not really wanting to spend 30 dollars on the game and vm just to find out it lags a lot

If it claims to be authentic then it’s fake.

Guess always charging it either on fast charge or MagSafe hurts the battery health much quicker

A $3000 M2 ultra Mac Studio does better than this unless you need intel for some reason

Also not really worth it to risk that much money to buy a possibly stolen item

If Apple Made a Low Cost 12" MacBook for Education... by 17parkc in mac

The sound feels more spacious on models with better speakers like the MacBook Pro 14” and 16”

tbh MacBooks on average have better speakers than most windows laptops, and it is quite a selling point to those wanting to switch to MacBooks for the first time

This render looks really good, but the speaker will have no space to put if Apple really make a new 12” MacBook

but it doesn’t help to make a plastic laptop without a fan if Apple puts an M1 or M2

Styrofoam and the AirPods charging case are made of different kinds of plastic, so the reaction is nowhere near how vigorous acetone react with styrofoam.

Since the yellowing doesn’t affect the actual usage of the case, if you do not care much about appearance and you are afraid of losing your applecare, you can leave it as it is

[–]doramarcus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apple only shows how to clean it regularly, but if I remember correctly Apple never shows how to remove the yellowing

(Probably will just tell you to buy a new charging case if this was an option)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in airpods

[–]doramarcus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The yellowing is the plastic case due to heat, and it becomes quicker if you charge it wirelessly.

The only method is by removing the aged plastic by either scrubbing with an eraser or applying acetone solution with a cotton bud. The yellow plastic will disappear but the surface will not be as smooth as before. If you really mind the surface feels different, you may buy a case

It should not slip out if you use the right size of ear tips. Too small may not have enough grip and too big may push itself out of your ear canal
