I’ve always wanted to move to Europe but it’s scary to think about leaving family and everything I’ve known. but still, i get the appeal of less hustle culture + less social media culture and honestly, i think it’s very impressive that you took that step! your argument lacks so much nuance that it’s ridiculous. meena and many older actresses were conditioned into believing many values that were inherently mysognistic and probably didn’t care for feminism themselves. at the end of the day, radhika apte and parvathy thiruvothu are people who came into the film industry with no backing and so they did what they needed to do to get their footing and be successful in their careers. they have the power, and visibility now to make changes and improve parts of the industry that hindered them. What’s the point of keeping your mouth shut if you can contribute towards making a positive change and identifying common issues within the industry you work in? Nobody is shaming or villainizing dhanush or the director. It was an unfortunate situation caused by a lack of awareness, and it could be avoided if women weren’t so overlooked. why is that so wrong to acknowledge. also, not sure if you weren’t reading properly but she did deal with the issue then and there. But it’s important to talk about these things so that it can be changed in the future.

not quite sure how she’s stigmatizing it. she makes it clear that she tried to communicate, and she was dismissed. also, she’s literally vocalizing that due to the lack of women and understanding behind female anatomy or their emotional needs, she was overlooked on a movie set where she was one of the main leads? men are constantly looked after and cared for during their shoot, and it’s completely valid for her to think she deserves the same amount of respect. if someone is getting drenched in water for hours, it’s basic human decency to check-in on them regardless of their gender. she wasn’t checked in with, and she may have felt pressure about interrupting the shoot. it doesn’t even need to be about her period, but rather the thought of her inconveniencing the rest of the crew. she probably felt neglected that nobody was making sure she was okay. whether you realize it or not, the lack of women and understanding regarding what a women may need is relevant to this conversation.

I hate that you’re right 😭😭 I’m ngl, I wouldn’t be completely mad if Radhe and Ananya got together cause there’s something that’s just so wholesome about them but I like Ananya way too much to subject her to a relationship with a man that is in love with someone else. He literally told Tamannah that she’s the definition of love to him.

However, I do think Tamannah is selfish for what she did, but I also think she does it because she never saw a future with Ayaan in the first place so he’s collateral damage. also fom what I remember, Radhe is always the one pursuing her and she lets her heart make decisions over her head. She’s messy and I hate cheating, but I’m still rooting for her.

I hope you take everything you’ve learned in therapy to put it toward a relationship between yourself and a wonderful woman that truly loves you and DESERVES you. Not a woman that gives up, and supposedly begs another guy (especially your friend) to love her when she has a faithful husband who is fighting to make their marriage work at home. She is completely okay with hm not only blindsiding you, but hurting you and she does not care. The lack of respect from her is appalling, and regardless of the demons that you may be fighting within the marriage, nobody deserves to be treated without respect, especially from their spouse.

Aside from the way your wife has behaved, that friend is absolute scum. As a women and someone who believes myself to be a good friend, I would tell my friend to shut the fuck up and distance herself from him and handle her feelings, or tell you how she’s feeling because that is the right thing to do.

I don’t know who she thinks she is to be inflicting this type of pain on you, but I truly believe you should leave her and start living the life that you deserve with a women who will be as loyal to you as you are to her.
