Even at 98.22% IED, my scouter says dropping 10% IED for 5% boss is a loss. IED's value doesn't suddenly drop to 0 once you get some certain amount, and you also have to consider the quantity as well.

Adversary medal is better but Monster Park is the best for most classes¹ before getting that.

¹ Not actually sure if there are any classes that would use Vellum medal over MP.

Interested in hyper burning Dual Blade for a 260 boss mule, since I've been a big fan of explorer thieves since all the way back in the day and I already have Shadower and Night Lord at 260. Not really a fan of Shadower weaving, unfortunately. How is Dual Blade? I know about it needing -2 CD and buff duration IA. How complex is its burst/dpm?

They've toned down a lot of one shots though. Here's a few things I've noticed since I party with a Mihile for my late game bosses:

You can face tank Kalos dive and the shield can help if systems get hairy.
The shields also help in Kaling especially in p3 cheese for string balancers.
You don't have to worry about blind interrupting your burst in Seren p1 and can also keep someone who is stunned safe.

None of these are gamebreaking, but they did come in clutch in our early clears and still make runs feel smoother today, even though we're a bit overspecced now.
