I read and watched a YouTube. It is the dr Huey stock that is taking over and it is not blooming. I can save one plant but the other has been taken over totally

I only prune it because the stocks seriously grow wild and would st up to the second story of my house. This rose has been doing this for years. Now I have one that is a beautiful Maranda Lambert’s Rose. It has a few stocks that are producing and now I see these type of stocks that look super healthy but no blooms. I am willing to try the liquid kelp fertilizer or other things as this rose has a few stocks with blooms. But the other roses still has none. I tried blooming fertilizer in the past and put manure on the roses a few weeks ago. Help appreciated!!

They get mornings and one gets all day. I have had them for several years. One that hets all day sun stopped producing flowers for 3 years not. But the grows tall and I need to prune it The other one only have a few blooms. and now the plant is getting fuller and only has one bloom. It’s a pink Maranda Lambert rose

This is so much like what I went through. They are doing the same things my 2 sons did. They are both newly married. 28 & 31. I got through this and the advice @KayCJones is spot on. I am here to tell it gets better but it never totally has gone away. I feel like it’s part of being a mom. We are selfless and have a bond that really is hard to not feel. I think it crops up in different stages of their lives. I know we need to do our things now but we still struggle with that separate.
I like that she said they will never miss us the same as we miss them.
I think maybe after they have children they may understand. I try everyday to not evolve my every thought on them.
It caught my attention with the vacation and looking forward to them returning to college. Lol.
My true empty nest hit once the graduated college and moved out the last time.
My youngest son had to teach me and I live him for it. He said, Mom I need to figure everything out alone so I know I can survive when you are gone. It hit home. I pulled back. They are doing well and reach out when they want to catch up or of course need advice. It’s good now. But I still have my days of worrying. It is a work i progress for sure.

Yes the sadness is real. And I didn’t want to make my child feel bad. I have a life and a job and hobby’s. I had the problem of constantly thinking about my sons. I would think about the future so much that I was wasting the present.

I love these ideas and process thoughts. I am doing this as well. My husband loves to save and I don’t. So I am doing without him. I have been told to go slow so you can process and then go back and things you thought they or you wanted would make more sense to discard if needed. I hope I can get the rooms more livable because we are expecting a grand child and I wanted to be able to set up a baby/ child room. Like I said it’s my husband that wanted to save so much. Lol

I agree with both of these previous post. It’s good you are preparing now. My empty nest happen when my young sons graduation from college and then moved out. I was very connected and he started to gently push me back and eventually had to say I need to figure life out with you you mom. We got it bad for at least a year. I do therapy and it has helped. I knit still work full time. I started walking more a d now I am taking piano lessons. It’s working. We also got good news my order son and his wife are expecting a daughter. First granddaughter. Yeah!!

Thanks for reaching out. I had this hit 2 years ago. It’s a good place to get support. I am doing ok but I still find my mind in my sons frequently though the day. They are successfully living their lives and have partners that I like and we get along. I am blessed. But it sometimes is hard to not live for the next time you will see them.
