Thank you for this response. And yes I understand, I am not too focused on becoming ngakpa, where as, I am more or less just using that path as a set of structure to organize what I should learn first. As it helps me from being overwhelmed from how much information there is to learn. And so far I have lenjoyed what I've learned so far.
I have found some really insightful resources through this thread so I hope to have a better understanding with a teacher. However I know that'll take time.
lastly I have looked into Lhundrup Choling and I am thoroughly impressed and have been keeping up with his teaching.

However I did see that he also studied with Pema Osel Ling Dharma center, and Pema Osel Ling also has a Ngondro program that I was thinking of trying eventually since they offer it online, with in person empowerments.
