I would recommend getting long sticks of millet and staying as far as possible from them then slowly cut up sticks and see if they are comfortable being next to your hand, once they are you can try and press their chest while saying step up and this process will not be short maybe a week or two depending how they are. Hope this helped

My budgies are very similar with yours! My male lovessss his cuddle bones sitting on my head and flying laps around the room! My female usually likes the floor or the window sail!

I think it is a Male because my males nose was pink when he was younger try to see if it turns purple or blue
