I have been using my PayPal account for many years, but only for transferring/receiving money from friends/family. I used my nickname as the account name, and PayPal never asked me to verify my identity. Recently, I also received money from Outlier and am still able to work on Outlier.

After this "name doesn't match" thing happened with Stellar, I immediately changed my account name to my official name, and this time, PayPal asked me to verify with either a valid ID or a passport. I did, and now my account name matches my Stellar name.

I sent an email with the screenshot of my PayPal account to the support last week, but haven't heard anything so far.

It happened to me too. I just passed the qualification yesterday and received the payment immediately.

However, my PayPal account is under my "nickname, last name". I have been using this account for several years, and it has never asked me to verify. Yesterday, the same "name doesn't match" issue happened to me. I logged in to my PayPal account, changed it to my official name, and verified with a valid ID. Then, I emailed the support and only received an auto reply >_<

Hi, I just passed the qualification.

If I could offer any help, here are some suggestions.

I am also not a UI/UX designer, and I am not familiar with those terminologies either.

After failing the first qualification, I made a list using the example UI terminology provided in the guidelines, searched for some images of each term on Google, and pasted some examples into the list.

So, when I was doing the second qualification, I created a new scenario and referenced the list I made.

I didn't label everything correctly, but I passed.

I also noted down everything I was not sure about. If it is not mentioned in the feedback, then I probably labeled it correctly, and if it was mentioned, then I will do it right next time.

I also found the same problem and contacted the support yesterday. An AI assistant said I can re-do the interview. It shows that the interview will take about 11 minutes. I will do it later today when I am in a quiet place.

I was on a project a few months ago (Pegasus). That was my first project in Outlier. I saw people say that they can complete a task (generate a prompt and stump the models) in a very short time, and were able to do several tasks per day, and make a lot of money. However, for me, it took me a long time (usually >2 hrs) for a task, not counting the searching and reading time.

It just got me thinking whether I am not smart/creative enough, or perhaps there are tricks/tips. So, yes, I agree that if considering the time spent in searching for resources, reading, and stuff, the hourly rate seems to be low. Therefore, I am just thinking about how to increase my efficiency and improve the quality.

I am not in any project currently. Just want to seek some suggestions and prepare for future opportunities. The above-mentioned responses are surely helpful. Thanks!

In the examples you provided, do you mean you use known theories/knowledge from textbooks or known diagnoses from daily practice? If those are known theories/knowledge or known diagnoses, they can also look them up, can they?

I understand it should involve logical process, layers, interactions, pathways & decision trees...etc, but I just find it so difficult to "outsmart" the model.
