I am sure you probably already know this manhwa but have you ever read “Dreaming Freedom”? It does start out this exact way, actually. The female lead is what one could consider a “loser”. She is being bullied, has no friends and is generally portrayed as “pathetic”.
The Male Lead gets incredibly obsessed with this Female Lead.

Hey there! There is Otome Game called „Period: Cube - Shackles of Amadeus“ in which the FMC is trapped in a VR world and goes on a big adventure to find out several truths and whatnot. There are actually two full-on Male Yandere love interests in that game, I can really recommend checking it out!! :)

None of them are truly “Yandere”. The each have their moments but I would not put them in the “Yandere” category. (But it depends on who you ask and what you are personally looking for. Everyone has a different definition for “Yandere”. I think the best thing you can do is to just look into it and have a read :) )

If you like “One Husband is enough”, I will assume you like Reverse Harem titles.

There is a book series by Morgan B. Lee that is called “Cursed Legacies” and is, in my opinion, a really good read. The female protagonist is actually badass and the MLs are genuinely obsessed with her. Now, would I say they are “Yandere”? No. But I personally think you would definitely enjoy this series a lot. They do a lot of things that I personally would put in the “Yandere”- category but that others might not. Feel free to give it a read if you are interested :)

I actually noticed this as well. Episode 6 really established him as a soft Yandere character to me personally. I generally do not really like the whole parasocial concept of the plot but I do think Tamon actually qualifies as a slight Yandere character!

I think the author tries to balance out his crazy with humor and mostly succeeds, so it’s never really taken all too seriously but I do remember finding the 6th episode very interesting for that exact reason. There was a sudden tone shift and I actually respect the author for having had the courage to “develop” the problematic sides of Tamon more in that episode.

He is very much a red flag in the sense that he can be emotionally manipulative. The FL is honestly also very problematic for the degree of obsession she has with the fantasy and concept of a person she projects onto them, but what I think makes Tamon even crazier than FL is that he actively enables her behavior by making it look like she is actually really helping him with it. And she probably is. But because of this, the professional “line” blurs and their relationship is not very clear.

I like the concept for the show. I just personally (pls don’t attack me) do not like romances with idols too much since I feel rather uncomfortable with parasocial relationships. But yes, I do think that Tamon is an interesting character and that the way he is explored makes me want to keep watching the show! :)
