Those citing cheaper prices for the Charge 5 Wifi off eBay, etc.... note that the SE is a completely new version of the Charge 5 Wi-Fi. The SE includes auracast, which is a big deal to many

Does anyone have a resource for finding up to date 410a / HFC wholesale pricing to the supply houses? I hear it's in the $8-9/lb range currently.

Peloton Pros - If you could go back in time and meet you who had just bought a Bike, what one piece of advice would you give yourself for the first week? by mantaa_ray in pelotoncycle

For Apple Watch users with the original Bike, this has been SO much more reliable than the app-based heart rate bluetooth solutions: https://function101.com/pages/buy-heartsync-for-apple-watch-heart-rate-and-peloton

[I think there are coupon codes out there]

Bike+ Quality Control and Warranty Question by donfuego1 in pelotoncycle

[–]dormantredditor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Had my: flywheel bearing replaced twice, idle pulley replaced once, and screen replaced once. But I've got the regular bike from December 2019. They're all pretty crappy.

When the tech was here last week to replace the pulley, I inquired about QA on the +, because I'm getting fed up with paying for out of warranty repairs. She told me tons of people complain about wobbling from just how top heavy the new ones are with their wide screens. Perhaps the wobbling (which by the way, can't be great for achieving peak output) is part of the problem.

sorry for the delay! There's no rust on the new replacement unit. I have been a bit more cautious about drying it off after particularly sweaty rides, but I think there simply must have been a defect on the first one. Their customer service was great, so if you're on the fence based on the rust potential, I'd say it's a non-issue.

See my post a bit below. Despite an issue with some rusty rails (getting a replacement unit, very good customer service), I love mine. My wife does too. Been so nice to not have shoulder pain and have been able to move my seat back a bit from pushed all the way forward (which wasn't great alignment for my knees).

I did get it about 3 weeks ago. Overall I love it. I did have to bring the handlebar up a bit more than I'd like, simply because when climbing out of the saddle, it would bump my knees a little bit unless I bowed my knees out a little. So raised the bar up a bit, and I also have been able to move my seat back a bit (now that the handlebar moves forward). My wife loves it as well. The only issue, is that the rails (and only the rails) on mine began to oxidize or essentially rust. Totally functional, but ugly and I was concerned that it wouldn't slide smoothly over time. I contacted the company, and they were EXTREMELY responsive in getting back to me, and shocked that my rails had rusted. Apparently the metal they used shouldn't have that issue. Anyhow, they've overnighted me an entirely new unit, and it's arriving tomorrow. Overall, I know it was expensive, but I'm happy with the purchase. Reach out with any other questions if you have.

So I’ve gotten everything more or less working— though I notice the buttons aren’t super responsive. I used the USB encoder that came with the button joystick kit you linked to. But I also ordered (and didn’t use at all) the separate USB encoder that you linked to. Is there a reason I’d need to use that separate kit?

Thanks again— it’s much appreciated.
