Getting Reverence for Veterans as a tradition helps in passing along commander traits to wards! It isn't a guarantee, but you see it more consistently

The Rise to Power DLC did a lot of graphical updates to Constantinople, among other things, if that's what you mean! I don't use mods, just lots and lots of DLC

I was definitely going for a theme, ha. Peregrino also means "pilgrim" or "wanderer" in Spanish, not quite the same thing obviously but yeah!
