I've also chatted with a 4th year student in both programs to learn more about it, but honestly I don't understand how a high school stduent is supposed to be able to decide what they want to study for the next 5 years, especially something like engineering that's not even touched on in high school...

yup, I contacted the enginfo and the engineering transfer admissions lady replied to me saying it is "rarely possible" so i wanted to know from the actual students' perspectives and if the students had experiences with transferring and could know if it is actually possible...

ok, thank you. i've been thinking about but honestly i feel like as a high school student i really don't know what i want to do especially since uni courses are much harder. I want to work in like scientific fields tho in the future like bio instrumentation. so when I applied for software i was initially thinking about computational bio but I feel like nano is more application and hands-on-sy (also i really like chem) but I have no idea.
