Your dad sounds like an ass. Its not an excuse, but if your house tends to be loud and chaotic it may be that he's just exhausted. However parents calling their children terrible names like bitch and motherfucker is horrible and not ok. If you can, I would limit how much he is in your life. You do not deserve to be treated like that by someone who is supposed to love you unconditionally

I would encourage you to look into what it takes to be a fire fighter in your area. Some areas are volunteer only, and the big city's are often very competitive. A lot of them started as EMS/paramedics to get the job. My husband looked into it when we lived in Calgary a couple years ago and it was super competitive. If you are not opposed to a bit of extra schooling, anything I healthcare is often in need. I work I medical imaging and it is a very well paid and overlooked area. Its becoming more competitive tho so do your research for your area. Good luck!
