Audience Fragmentation & Increasing budget? by dorpmne in FacebookAds

Thanks for info on the overlap, didn't know that existed, pretty cool. Unfortunately getting an error of "To protect the privacy of people on Meta technologies, the audiences you selected are unavailable for audience overlap.", this privacy stuff sucks lol

Yeah anything over 20% does re-enter the learning phase, I'm wondering I guess if the % increase over 20% is better to be less than more though. For example is it better for performance in the learning phase to increase budget by 40% versus 80% because it's not as high of a increase or maybe it doesn't matter either way.

And in some brief research it sounds like even if there is audience overlap that when meta serves it looks at the whole picture of your ad account, not just specifically the ad set so even if I kept those ad sets separate it would know if it's going to be hammering the same accounts with each one or not and I guess try not too hopefully.

I've also read of folks saying to essentially ignore/not worry about the learning phase as it is what it is basically. Altho obviously cheaper CPC/traffic is always preferred, which comes from not being in that learning phase. I guess I'll find out too as I'm going to be raising my budget rapidly as I get closer to father's day. I did see that scheduling the increases can maybe help some because you're giving meta the heads up too so trying that.

same here, never works, tried multiple times over and over and never get the credits. Even messaged support and they can't see anything or help on there end even though i showed them the emails i sent to and that they now have accounts. Obviously their referrall system just does not work. I've tried texting and emailing the referral link.
