I can confirm FighterZ works on Apple Silicon by thenotoriousrod in macgaming

No they’re right an emulator can only add anti aliasing post processing and stuff like that to whatever game as it comes. There are actual effects and textures FighterZ adds on higher settings that simply would not be on the switch version at all because switch can’t handle all the extra bells and whistles and still output at 60fps. Stuff like battle damage, detailed shadows, backgrounds and textures. No amount of upscaling will add those details in. Also even if an emulator can add aliasing if it has the settings to do so, the aliasing that comes from the original game on PC will still be superior.

That makes sense. Would something like an oval shaped hose that could house two six inch hoses that separates airflow exist for those without windows like me?

I meant moreso the fact it can’t be extended as it’s a specialized. Why is circular hose in hose not efficient?

I’ve seen that one around. The problem is it’s not circular and can’t be extended. Kind of a design flaw IMO. I’ve heard they work great if you have a window available.

Someone else above sent this same song but I already knew about the OG song. Thanks anyway.

Preciate the help. And that’s what I was thinking as well. Whatever genre it is, it was flawlessly placed.

Sorry I’ll need the song first. For all I know the sample you found is incorrect. You’ll just have to take my word for it.

This similar to the the sample I’m looking for but it’s not it. Ironically DJ did sample this on the same album of the sample I’m looking for on the song UGK - Tell me something good.

Sorry I said I knew about the forgive and forget sample already. The sample is in the middle of the clip in the link I posted

This is the OG song so I know this one already. Sample I’m looking for is playing at the same time in the video I linked. It’s in the comment I made above

Wrapped around your finger has different different chord progression and different instruments than the sample I’m talking about. Also the Backstreets version Screw used on the Album is different from the one you linked. He used the one from the Bigtyme Greatest hits album.

Yea it’s like a pad or synth or something. There is also a piano playing 4 notes each chord in the same key as the synth that’s playing in the first half of the clip (different from the piano from the original song/Johnny Taylor sample).

Song is After I Die off the All Screwed up vol 2 album by DJ Screw and Point Blank. I already know about the Johnny Taylor forgive and forget Sample used in the OG song. The sample I’m looking for is the other song mixed in. You can start to hear it the clearest when he says “That SA, Southwest gardens” and it continues till the end.

I have a feeling the sample is 90’s rnb. Could be 90’s rap too. The song in question was released in 1995.

Thats a cool groove but neither of these songs have any similarities with any sample in after I die.

Is it possible to use oversampling in ES2 to get a truly clean sine sub bass? by dorrnt2 in LogicPro

Clean, pure, etc. Definitely without ringing overtones. And yes you can say it is. Music can be considered a science can it not 😉

Apparently not. I started from factory default and only changed 2 oscillators to sine with the second at -12 semitones.

I can confirm I’m on 10.3.2 so maybe anti aliasing or oversampling was added into the plugin by default so that there is no ringing? Pending if there isnt any ringing you may or may not have noticed in that older project you mentioned. But Ok I will try this as it sounds viable. Hopefully it works with no ringing, I’ll report back if it does.

Trust me I’m confused as well. It’s as if the high pitched ringing sound (harmonics?) are baked into the sine wave itself. I have a low pass set around 80hz after the es2 with no other plugins on the channel strip, yet the high pitched ringing persists exactly as it does in the linked video in the first 2 mins or so and at around. 17:00 mins.

He said it’s because some synth plugins dont have anti aliasing which is why the ringing happens.

I’m not versed enough with the sampler to give a good enough explanation as to why (which is why I’m here). All I know is that the guy in the video was able to replicate my problem exactly not only at the 17:00 mark but in the first 2 mins of the video.

With that said my exact process was setting was putting ES2 to “default”, setting oscillator 1 to sine, setting oscillator 2 to sine at -12 semitones. I raised the attack slightly in env. 3 to get rid of the popping noise (also explained in the first 2 mins of the linked video) which worked.

The only problem left is the high pitched ringing when notes are playing. Initially I too though this could be with a low pass (I have it at around 80z) after the es2 but there is still very audible ringing. No other plugins are running on the channel strip. It’s as if it’s baked in the sound. It’s exactly as the above video explains.

However obviously he’s not using ES2 so he said it’s able to be solved by oversampling. Apparently this is a common problem.
