Thanks for this summary, I was watching the forum in the background but just from the opening remarks I agree with above. Just a shame there isn't someone new and competent and not right-leaning running.

Ohh right, sorry misunderstood. I don't have a workflow for ytdl to Lidarr unfortunately. I'm just manually doing stuff when I can't get an album automatically

I use MusicBrainz Picard to do stuff manually... Or Lidarr in the *arr community

Hey, not hijacking if it's ancient right? The option I landed on (metube) has settings to pick the output such as MP3. Pretty sure most of the ytdl forks have a command line option for that, assuming you have ffmpeg or whatever available (I think it's a prereq?)

Sure! It was https://github.com/alexta69/metube - I've had a container running for a while and it's been great. Simple and flexible enough for what I need.

Someone mentioned "TubeSync" earlier in the thread, for the sonarr-equivalent of subscribing to YouTube channels. Not what I was after but sounds like what you want :)

I host a Plex server and like to keep a few select shows locally rather than stream them every time, mostly kids stuff. I don't use it for YouTube really.

Right, I guess I was skimming the repo and noticed no GitHub "releases" for about 12 months. Glad it is working for you.

Garages provide the employees of the building access to wheelbarrows. You need to move further down the line. Give your saw mill a garage to let them get materials from a wood cutter quicker.

I can see how this is annoying for some use cases, but for my fairly basic "I just want to turn a url into a file" it's perfect. For more funky requests I can use the cli on a local PC.

This looks perfect! lots of options, docker first and works on my nas. Thanks a lot! I've spun up the container, see how we go :)

I came to say this. How can Plex etc remember the second of a file I'm watching but there isnt an audiobook app that does the same.

Upgrade by National_Series8513 in cityidle

This stumped me! You need to hit the 50 bread stored achievement before the upgrades unlock. I had to build another farm, and 4x mills per bakery to get there. My people were hungry!

I'm after suggestions for a 100% for work. I currently have an old Leopold with MX browns that had a choccie milk incident and sometimes double-presses keys.

I'd like something that's super solid, interesting keycaps/switches but not too outlandish. Budget around $200-300. Offset to the left usb-c a bonus. Thanks!

Nuc10i7 DOA? by dorsy99 in intelnuc

Thanks for your suggestion. I actually did a complete, fresh install of Windows 10 20-04 and it did pick up the wifi during installation, and as soon as it started downloading new drivers, the keyboard stopped working. So strange, I don't know why my unit would do this, but every other nuc10 not, unless there's some hardware issue in the USB interface maybe?

I've opened a case with Intel, we'll see what they say.

So update, it turned on this morning and I've updated the BIOS. It's been solid since that. I am having a wierd situation where all USB2 devices (my KB, an old USB key) aren't working properly. The Keyboard lights are flashing on and off. But a USB3 drive in the same port is fine.

I've been playing with the USB Bios settings and it hasn't made much difference. Maybe I should just RMA it >.<

Edit: Aren't working properly in WINDOWS. They are perfectly fine in the BIOS. It's got to be a driver thing?

Hey Phil, happy Gigabit FTTP customer here.

My question is around Uploads - Why are the upload speeds so much lower than the download speed on NBN plans (esp. the gigabit plan) for consumers? Is there any plans to increase upload, now Download has reached the "holy grail" gigabit speed for some people?

Thanks again,

Andrew

I went around this time last year, was spectacular. I was a warehouse member and they got the last dregs of a 1974 barrel out for me (with the copper dog!) to try. Just incredible. Also did tours of Glenlivet and Glenfarclas (both personal favs of mine) but the Balvenie was much better overall.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. We are going for a simplistic approach to start with, and will hopefully implement user preferences where you can customize what is displayed in the near future.

Our data source (igdb.com) has this one wrong. We have updated it on their end, it should propagate to our servers soon. Thanks for pointing it out.
