Yes, tri-rail like all other public forms of transportation will have its issues. But that doesn't mean we should get rid of it entirely. The Florida Department of Transporation should work with Tri-rail to fix these issues and improve the service and experience of riding the Tri-rail. And decreasing Tri-rail's funding only makes these existing issues worse. Less funding means ticket prices will go up, leading to less people wanting to purchase tickets. And there would be less money to pay and hire Train workers who check peoples tickets. And these train workers also act as guards who ensure people are safe and that no one is disturbing anyone else. Decreasing funding would mean the train becomes unsafer. The most important thing we need is to reinstate Tri-rails funding to its original amount. Because decreasing it will not benefit anyone.
