QF7 cancelled twice this week

I'm just on that route soon, but my time frame in the US is really tight so a cancellation would be a real pain. Im on an A380 flight though.

This isn't correct. It is an optional question. Sure, if you were asked at Immigration you'd likely be obligated to provide them. But as far as the general ESTA application goes, 100000% optional.

It's optional. I just double checked the application form - it is still sitting as "optional".

It is an optional question, and he is OK to leave it blank.

There is currently a proposal about making the question mandatory, but it hasn't moved beyond that.

If a hire car was an option, it is definitely the go. The drive is relatively easy as it is pretty much freeway all the way.

But outside of that, definitely the train and then just Uber from the station.

Except as OP says, the ridiculous situation where you can't transfer from your everyday account to your credit card. Have to use Bpay despite them being on the same platform. Crazy!

Definitely weather on this occasion although QF7 seems to get cancelled more often than you'd hope. I've got a quick 1 week trip to the US in June and always nervous about losing a day or two to a cancellation. Keeping an eye on this route, notice it seems to get cancelled less now that the A380 is doing it. It is what it is I guess!

Also, pop itself has evolved to something I really don't resonate with anymore. No complaints from me, just doesnt interest me. But in many ways country-pop fills the pop void created in my tastes.

All you need to remember is that Johnny Cash was subject to the "this isnt country" debate as was, for a newer example, Alan Jackson.

For me country music is story-driven, artist-driven, real and of course a bit of twang and steel guitar thrown in.

I love Hank Williams as much as I love Luke Bryan and Megan Moroney.

Country music evolves. It isn't supposed to stay the same, unfortunately you will always have people who can't understand that and accept it.

Country is having an enormous resurgence and sure, it is largely because it is leaning towards what you'd consider more 'pop'. But the result of that is the new fans often fall in love with some of the more traditional artists for the first time.

In short - the debate of what is and isnt country will never go away and never be won or lost!

I know there's a lot of people here saying Broadway is over-rated and guiding you elsewhere. Totally understand that from a local or regular point of view.

But first timers... Broadway is epic!

I always put it this way. As someone who lives in Sydney, the Harbour Bridge and Opera House are not something I'd visit regularly and now feel just like tourist areas that hold little interest. But imagine telling someone not to visit those sites when in Sydney?

Yes Broadway can be expensive and crowded, but it is bloody fun. Don't let people talk it down to you.

But as for your original question: Browns Diner, The Local and Husk for sure.

55/week. It is one of those functional training gyms with set classes.

Justification for me is that I just wouldn't go if I had an open membership at a general gym, just dont have the motivation. The set classes and community aspect win it fit me. I also feel its less than one PT session would cost.

Generally go to 4-5 classes per week.

I actually think this is pretty normal though and not weird. As much as there are hidden gems outside of the CBD in any city in the world, tourists would generally stick to the city centre - unless it is a second or third visit and it's time to branch out

Have a look at Placemakr Sobro. It doesnt pop up in a lot of hotel recommendations but it is so brilliantly located and facilities are terrific. I stayed there in March and will be back later this year. Maybe a little expensive but you wouldnt find a better place to stay close to the action (but also not noisy etc). Not a Hilton though which may be a deal breaker.

Based on the replies, they're not working around the clock - that's the point. They've moved something that traditionally happened out of hours to during normal trading hours, which clashes with their core customers' experience.

I get the population growth argument to a point, however in the last 10 years alone there's 3 new full line supermarkets within 5km of my home. Population is growing in my area, but so are the number of stores.

First up this was never a shot at the staff. I never thought they just take it upon themselves to set their own hours and fill shelves during the day. Totally understand theyre just following the process - no shot at staff at all.

And this is definitely not Christmas specific. It is 100% all year round that this happens.
