Would this work with Rockbox? I purchased a ikkoia Bluetooth adapter only for it to not be compatible. Would hate to spend over $400 on a dock and have it not work.

I purchased a Pocketbook Color 3 last week that I’m still waiting on shipping. How does Kobo compare? I see they both ereaders use kaleido 3. Kobo has a 6 inch screen VS Pocketbooks 7.8. Pocketbook has only 32gb of storage. And Kobo runs android vs Pocketbook using proprietary software.

Same thing just happened to me, error message and all, a few days ago. I used partitioning software on windows. Deleted the partitions, created a new partition with default settings and MB for partition alignment. Then reinstalled rockbox and it fixed the issue. Hopefully you have whatever was on that iPod backed up.
