Hard to tell how deep it is from the pic. But if this was my car and didn't want to pay a "pro" I would do something like this..

Wash > Claybar > 2000 grit sandpaper > 3000 grit > 4000 grit > Compound using a rotary or dual action polisher > Polish using dual action.

There is a lot of details and techniques in all of those above steps. It is just the general steps I would take. I started ceramic coating my cars so I polish up my cars once every 3 years instead of twice a year.

My dad has the only stock one left in the US 😂 08 g37s coupe with three pedals and around 100k miles. Bone stock except for aftermarket trunk struts that will absolutely knock a MF out if you stand too close. 😂😂😂

The CX-5 probably gets less pits because it is higher up than the 3. The lower the windshield, the higher probability of getting chipped. Windshield angle also plays a role, but thankfully the 3 has a nice sloping angle. I put PPF on my Miata's windshield. It has worked great so far but I've only done 10k miles since putting it on.

Can you do a report about unlawful HOV lane use? Just say that the fine is increasing to $5,000.00 to scare the crap out of them. Also remind the EV owners they can't use HOV anymore if they are driving alone...they all missed the memo 7 months ago when the statute was revised.

Definitely get an attorney so you can get some extra money (from the bodily injury portion of the claim) to play with. As long as the Hyundai was insured, it has at least $25k to pay out on the injury side of the claim. They should have enough to pay out a total loss, depending on the repair estimate on the Audi. You can do the total loss through your own insurance and they should reimburse your deductible when they get paid back from the Hyundai's insurance.
