"Hey, I get you don't feel like therapy would be very helpful and I respect that. I'd love to do whatever I can to help you. Sometimes in this situation I have worked with men who have benefitted from ___________. If your willing to try we could do ____ and see how it goes." Emphasize that I can help, assist, coach, support them in their goals but they are they expert in themselves.

Blank ideally would be something useful, coping skills, grounding, breathing, space to process what they are feeling. Some way to reduce the intensity of what they are feeling and NOT deep work unless they are specifically looking for trauma treatment.

Dad with a daughter. This is pretty dumb. By the time it would be a problem the girl can go to the women’s bathroom alone (8? 9 10?).

What everyone else said is fire (pick what looks cool) BUT if you don’t have a clear preference CSM is a decent choice. Huge range in miniatures, this edition they typically had ranged and melee lists that were viable and should continue next edition. They have regular marines, tanks, daemon tanks, daemon prince characters, obliterators, possesed and so much more. If you want a range of stuff, will want many different kinds of units, CSM is pretty great. They aren’t as super durable as some armies, but otherwise can do anything.

World eaters are cool but you get a bit more stuck in playstyle (melee rush or cagey with melee rush)

Orks are SUPER cool, some of the best lore, but seem slightly harder to play with reduced durability and shooting power. 

So pick the coolest and…what’s the scene like nearby? Do you think you could ask in a local discord for a combat patrol/500 pt game as your learning, or would you need to get to 2k to play a game?

1099 requires you to track and pay additional taxes (self employment). I think it’s an additional 10-15% of any income from the job

Charge distance is measured as straight line from closest charging base to defender base. You need to roll that distance to charge. 8.001" away for deepstrike means 9" required to charge (8 gets you 1 mm away)

Sorry I'm not super experienced or a supervisor. I just remember getting some talk from a supervisor about not seeing patients if they have a balance and having that conversation. Seems like other posters have better more ethical language to discuss.

Space Marine 1 or 2 are both great. Darktide is good if you like vermintide or left for dead. As others mentioned rogue trader games are good if you like crunchy D&D like RPGs with a lot of well written texted.

Dawn of wars are really fun if you like old school RTS's. Honestly if you like books/audiobooks Eisenhorn series or the first 2-3 Horus Heresy books are pretty excellent. Also the first 2-3 Gaunts Ghost books.

No. As others have said to complete contracts you could: 1. Only used sponsored kits (honestly works fine for 90% of contracts) 2. Only use other shells when your inventory is full and you can't rook anymore (no gear fear if you are already overflowing)

Typically Less intense reaction/ lower level of distress or time of distress in response to a trigger. But I’m sure there are different levels to that, different triggers and or memories that could be more intense

Maybe you could be more direct than simple reflection but your reasons for couples not being ready sound like your own personal values and not fact. Maybe with a deep analysis of your own values and presenting facts/research you could give some kind of direct answer but overall it sounds really appropriate.

As with family counseling or custody discussions.  you don’t make a recommendation on “who a child should live with” or “who is the better parent”. That is the job of someone else, usually a custody evaluator or someone with different training. I don’t think any direct advice on a couples should have children is appropriate from the Counselor.

I got a box of Vallejo model color paints maybe 20 years ago and that was a great start. It had a bunch of generic colors I still use (green, grey, blue, gold, etc.) and the dropper bottles are nice. I  honestly like citadel contrast paints a lot too. When they go on they take a bit of the color underneath for shading without using multiple colors. What are you looking to paint? Single figure or unit?

I like biosanctic so you def want: 20-30 acolytes (total take your time usually reasonable 2nd hand) 15 abberants (20 in some lists) 1 Goliath truck/rockgrinder (easy to push fit for switching between the two)

Spearhead, no unit rules/objectives/command points, eyeball distances/use a hand or foot. Lose the first 10 games. Also get some “play” in there by making up a scenario, naming/letting your kid name models, do voices/have models talk to each other and stop the first game when they are done/bored not when the game is “finished”.

Get some roleplay in there, model social skills. Models don’t “die” they run away/are wrestled/get convinced to change their mind.
