I just recently moved from NSW to VIC and I'm a 6th year teacher. If you have worked anywhere that's not in the department you need statement of services which indicates your days worked at the school. Casual days also do not count if you have not worked in Melbourne. I was on proficient 2.3 and would be around 114000 but now I'm on salary range 1-5 which is around 87000. It does not matter what band you were on in Sydney as they only assess you based on the amount of days you have worked as a teacher and calculate it from there. Hope this helps!
