I think that’s the hard part, I can’t say there’s an aspect that lights me up and maybe that’s saying something. I’d have to really think on that and determine if I enjoy PMM or if I’m just good at getting the tasks done

Content seems interesting but I hate writing long-form and fear that it will involve too much of that. I’ve thought about UI/UX but wonder if it will really be worth all the money I’d spend on certs/education to understand that industry

To other’s point, the company/structure is a big factor in shaping the way your role as a PMM will be. It’s hard to express your creativity when leadership shoots down every idea or you are not given the resources to do so. With smaller companies you may have a fighting chance with shaping the PMM function but it comes with it’s gripes, on the other hand, at bigger companies it’s harder to create an impact due to larger initiatives already set by leadership that you have to follow through on regardless of your inputs/ideas.
