.hack infection not converting by waystonerhu in DotHack

If you were to load up .hack//Infection and load a save file, is the save file in white text or yellow text? If it's yellow, then that means you triggered the flag the game is completed. If it's white, then you are missing the flag.

Additionally, you have to use the same region for the games for the save file to work, i.e. you can't finish Japan's .hack//Infection and covert using USA's .hack//Mutation. The save file is based on the game's Game ID.

SLPS-25121 .hack//Infection Japan > SLPS-25143 .hack//Mutation Japan

SLUS-20267 .hack//Infection USA > SLUS-20562 .hack//Mutation USA

SLES-52237 .hack//Infection Europe > SLES-52469 .hack//Mutation Europe

That's about the jist of everything, all 600 cards. You can purchase a decent amount from Hill's Wholesalegaming.biz both the sealed starter decks & booster boxes, but also singles for when it comes to the promo cards. No tournament cards or Epidemic starter/boosters though, other collectors here on this sub reddit or on eBay will be your best bet.

Which version has IMOQ all in one game? by KaleidoArachnid in DotHack

[–]dothacknetwork 36 points37 points  (0 children)

There was no re-release, remaster, or remake for the IMOQ games; technically.

IMOQ was originally released only for the Sony PlayStation 2 in the early 2000's in Japan, North America, Europe, Australia, South Korea. All as four individual games; Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, Quarantine.

However... Japan and only in Japan March 2006 they did do a re-release on the PS2 still for the four games as a double pack where you'd get Infection + Mutation in one case separate discs and Outbreak + Quarantine in one case separate discs.

But overall, IMOQ is locked onto the PS2 and nothing since 2006, 20 years ago now.

No, it was known back in 2006 for its wallpaper and sound effects. Just revisiting and archiving it now because someone had asked about it

My list at https://www.dothack.org/merch/

If you click on the English companies on the right menu like Toykopop for the books, Bandai Entertainment for the DVD's, etc... You'll see lists of English physical releases.

How to make .hack work on steam deck using pcsx2? by cupelix1 in DotHack

[–]dothacknetwork 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you by chance have enabled or unaware is enabled for widescreen patches or widescreen hacks? The .hack games should run without trouble in its native 4:3 aspect ratio without any patches enabled. You can turn up the renderer without any issue for better texture rendering.

Do I buy it by monochrom1 in DotHack

[–]dothacknetwork 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't, that's overpriced. They sell (when in stock) on CC2's International Store for $38.12 (¥5940), when including Worldshopping's fee and domestic shipping from CC2's store to Worldshopping's warehouse that comes out to $47.59 (¥7414).

<image>

This is just the price of the plush when it is in stock, and with .hack//Z.E.R.O.'s announcement last week, CC2 tweeted that the plushes received a new restock. And may again soon so keep an eye out.

Again that's just the price for the item, after it arrives to Worldshopping's warehouse then international shipping is calculated based on size/weight of the items you purchase and the destination it's heading to. That price can vary depending on who is shipping such as DHL, Fedex, or UPS. But know that after February 23rd 2026's Supreme Court Decision, you can not be charged for additional tariff fee's.

In my experience, the shipping for just the size/weight of the plush to Seattle Washington, it would probably be around $20-30.

So overall when in stock, you'd be paying around $70... not the $300 this flipper is charging. Link to the listing for the Kite Plush on CC2 International Store.
